Manuals

Any good online source? (I'm especially looking for 4D sports Driving and Flashback; I need them to run my REAL miggy versions... My life is a mess! :nervous )

If anybody want to do scans for these games, it would certainly bring forward the CAPS release. ;)

This is why release 20 (Monkey Island 2) is out btw, and why the release numbers are strange - Belgarath scanned MI2 for us and so it could be released before the earlier ones are ready. :)

how will the flashback box be scanned ? .. if memory serves, the box was in some kind of shaped sleeve or something was`nt it ?

Kodoichi 08 January 2003 18:06

AmigaMOS?

Hmm, not sure that my version is like that... But anyway, I am sure we can work something out... The next release has a box that is triangular in shape. :)

Interceptor 08 January 2003 18:25

If I recall correctly, and due to overconsumption of alcohol I sometimes don't, Flashback was shipped in a normal box. Whereas it's "sequel", Fade to Black, had an odd shape to it.

Fade to Black never came out for the Amiga, however.

Yeah, the shape of the Flashback box is normal. It's just that it has an outer sleeve that slides over the box to give a nice effect. But if you remove the sleeve, all thats underneath is solid blue, so why not scan it with the sleeve in place? The budget version uses the normal Kixx XL style box of course.

§ane 09 January 2003 17:50

Oh please be Dark Seed, I know the box has a triangular extruding surface with an alien face.

Kewl!

Baah, I'll play the cracked ADF instead of my legal buyed version!
I'm too messy... :rolleyes

Frog 09 January 2003 19:40

you can laso use the WHDLoad installer for those games, i think they bypass the protection... and if it's to play a real miggy, it's far better on hd ;)

fiath 10 January 2003 09:41

Interceptor - nope :) Does that have a triangular box?
CodyJarrett - nope :) Does that have a triangular box?

Yup...I meant to put this on here last night, but got sidetracked...

CodyJarrett 10 January 2003 10:42

I think The Humans has a triangular box inside.

fiath 10 January 2003 13:11

Hmm, there may be a problem. I don't *think* we have the manual. I need to check when I get home...

stuntpup 10 January 2003 15:17
