Help with 8gb card boot
 

Hi all
Can any one help me with setup a 8gb CF card Sandisk extreme with winuae
Do anyone have a floppy in adf or hdf file to setup the card plz :xmas

What do you mean setup the card? Just partition and format it or install workbench and if so which one?

yes to partition and format and install WB 3.1 and then OS3.9

I need 3 partition WB, Work, Games

If you cannot transfer your original media onto the pc as adfs etc then Google is your friend. I tend to use classicwb and there are numerous guides to setting it up on winuae before copying to a cf card, either here or on amibay.

Google for "setting up cf card amiga" (or something like that).

When you are on "Partitioning" window of HDToolBox check "Advanced Options".

Sum "Total Cyl" of both partitions (there are by default 2 partitions) and use that sum to calculate sizes of your partitions. Modify only number in "Total Cyl". To modify "Start Cyl" of 2nd partition just drag 2nd partition to the left. To add 3rd partition click on "New Partition" and click on empty space right from 2nd. I suppose that you will modify "Partition Device Name" to DH0, DH1 and DH2. You define name of partition (WB, Work & Games) while formatting.
