Actually things to come is to take a single popular amiga game and play through it and pinball dreams seems like a obvious choice among chosen games ;)

Some games I will for sure play and perhaps also video record would be:

The Chaos Engine
Hybris
Battle Squadron
Turrican
Pinball dreams
Etc...

Main focus would be action games and prefered 60 fps, but it is not a must.

All I ask is a little patience, since I am not at home currently.

B&O CRT TVs are really great for C64/Amiga.

What's the red cloth for? To make it GF/wife-friendly so it can be covered up when not in use? :)

What screen is this?

Superb setup there, but should go in the man cave :)

The red curtain has several purposes :)

1. It looks cool and has an "attraction appeal to it, like I want to see what is under the curtain". Surprice me kind of thing, for friends etc. :)
3. It also functions as a protective dust cloth.
3. Shielding for the daily sunrays, as it tends to "yellow" devices.
4. Very easy to remove the curtain and put in place again.

Good but these are not consoles they need a table.

Yes, and that is what makes these computers so great. You can have it either way. Place them on a table or another setup for easy convenience and access :)

A console is pretty much stuck as it is. Lol

BTW: some folks can experience no-picture issues (or black screen) with old original amiga rgb scart cables to a B&O CRT tv. This is easy solved when buying a new (newer configured scart cables) on UK ebay for about 10 pounds :)

Not really.
Predseda mentioned Pinball Dreams because you need the keyboard to play. In that situation, this setup is completely cumbersome.
Also the C64 needs the keyboard heavily, to type in commands to load and to skip cracktros.

They are computers, not consoles, therefore not really convenient in this setup.

But whatever satanic ritual you are performing here with them, good job :crazy

Must admit the satanic ritual comment made me laugh.

Maybe he just plays non keyboard type games. Chaos Engine / Battle Squadron / Sensitive Soccer. Etc.

Either way it's another great setup. Thank you for sharing.

All good with the Amiga (That is if you don't have to click a mouse, maybe), but the C64 still needs a lot of typing, unless you have an EAsyflash cartridge (all I see is a tape deck)

Actually it has been years since I played Pinball Dreams, and do recall I used the keyboard but thought it was playable also with a joystick. :shocked

Akira, your points in regards to the C64 keyboard is valid, and it also gave me an idea, which I may do something about later on ;)

In fact I cannot wait to showcase and most likely with a video the first game on this setup, which really will show just how great the gaming experience really is when great commodore hardware gets tuned to a higher cause in sound, hardware, picture and gameplay :bowdown

Just get a CD32 and an EasyFlash cartridge for the C64 and that's it. You have to be a masochist to load games from tape in 2016, then again, maybe it is part of the satanic ritual :cheese

Or load a frontend on your Amiga that you can control with a joystick.
Oooh but you have an A500. Man you need hardware upgrades :/ You can't use stock shit pleasantly in this day and age. Especially if you want to run these units like consoles.
