Barbarian budget review in Zzap 60
 

I emailed codetapper about this today, but just noticed this forum now so will repost here in case the email address I used was old etc.

I'm redoing my ZzapBible and got a little confused by one budget review and when searching I came across the entry on AMR.

But it wasn't in my first version of my ZzapBible so I was confused. I was also confused by the release price of £9.99 and publisher of Klassix and the fact that the budget verison of it was reviewed in issue 57.

So... it seems like they are reviewing the Amiga version of the game (the review mentions moving the mouse) and not the C64 version, even although a C64 screenshot is used.

So you might like to update the machine from C64 to Amiga in your DB.

And they are NOT reviewing the Palace version of Barbarian but the Psygnosis point-and-click one... so the screenshot is not just from another computer but also from another game completely :)

I think they're in another bloody world!

Barbarian (Psygnosis) is not worth 88% and the review is utter shite! Barbarian is dogshit :)
