It's just some Amiga hardware, plus a load of pirate games on floppy! There's nothing very amazing about that...
The seller has just made it sound better than it is. |
At that price, it's still a bargain but yes, it's nothing unique.
|
Ok maybe its because Im new to ebay :D
7000 disks is impressive though |
Still 7 hours to go. The price will surely double.
|
ahh old disks are no good anymore, esp. pirate disks ... if this offer was made 10 years ago, I would have liked it (totally!!) .. but now nah, rather burn a couple of cd`s :)

The sly bippym spotted this before all of you..... try looking in the list of bidders ;)
|
The thing about old disks with pirate software not being any good isn't quite right. I for one have a dang hard time finding normal DD disks around here. HD just don't work that well.

Obviously this is someone who bought it themselves and it just selling it on.
I he/she built this collection themselves they'd know that he was selling an A500 and not an A600. I mean even I know that A600 didn't have a numeric pad;) |
I'd also question the sensationalist 7,000 games/disks claim - considering that the HOL lists nearly 4,000 games, he either has every commercial game ever and then some shareware/PD games, or just a hell of a lot of shareware!
|
Probably the whole Fish! collection with a backup of each disk and then all Assassins disks and so on... ;)
And I was wrong about the price, it sold for only 104 pounds... Err...what does the weather have to do with photos taken inside your home? |
