Magazine content question
The mag pages seem to consist of predominately commercial games reviews. Is there any chance additional pages will be included in the future (Eg PD reviews) Thanks :)

Yeah that would be great - Was it a choice for the AMR project to mainly focus on game reviews, or were the pages just unavailable when they were scanned ?
It's been one my my most visited websites over the last 10 or so years, so whilst I'm here I just want to say thanks so much for the team for their hard work ! |
They were available for scanning, they just didn't get scanned.
IIRC it was Galaxy's intention to eventually scan all the pages, but he seems to have left the community about 5 years ago, so I would not hold my breath. |
Dang - Do we know how much of the team still exists, looks like there's a few 'scanners' on board: http://amr.abime.net/team

It would be totally cool to update AMR, lot of magazines surfaces on other sites dedicated to collecting them and preserving.

I wonder if there's any way of squishing together the content on AMR and the scans from archive.org to save time rescanning stuff that's already out there ? The structure/navigation of AMR is perfect but content is incomplete, whereas archive.org's has tonnes more scans but is a right pain in the backside to navigate....

It'd be nice to have some magazines preserved at a higher dpi. I tend to read on my tablet :)
