Kaillera - SWOS
 

I've been using winuae for years, off and on.
And i just got the latest winuae and was having a bash at SWOS 96-97. Very nice :bowdown :bowdown

Then i thought i'd check out the netplay stuff i'd seen on the web years ago...
I've downloaded ;
-Kaillera servers v0.82 and 0.86 servers.... both work ok but the only way to get them to work is to take down the firewall completely... which sucks (correct me if i'm wrong)

-Kallera client v1 and v2.2. Version 1 crashes whenever swos trys to load and v2.2 is missing loads of tabs and just doesn't seem to work.

Has anyone successfully managed to get SWOS working on Kaillera????

On the firewall topic: I thought there was a way to tell kaillera (in the kaillera server config file) to work through port xxxxx? Then, you'd only have to open that port (and not all of them) to allow for netplay.

www.portforward.com is a good site if you are behind a router and wanting to play multiplayer games.
