EAB/Lemon Super League Changes #2: Choose the Super system

Round 2: League Points Super Options

Vote for the scoring method we will use in the 2018 Super League.
Voting starts (Sun 10th) and will end Saturday 16th December, 23:59 UK Time.
Vote for your choices, rank them 1-3, 3 being the best option.
Your first choice gets 3 points, second 2pts, third 1pt.
Post your votes on this thread, or PM one of the moderators.
Edited votes will be discounted - so think before you post.
Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread HERE.

Welcome to the second vote - choose your Super system:

Option 1: Super 7

In last week's vote Super 7 was chosen out of four different scoring systems to be our new league scoring system for 2018.
The "7" in Super 7 means that the 7th place's score is crucial for the rest of the table: 8th place and below get between 1 and 10 points depending on how close they are to the 7th place's score.

But the 7 isn't set in stone yet. In this week we give you the opportunity to modify the Super system by offering you 2 alternatives: Super 5 and Super 10.

Option 2: Super 5

With Super 5 the score in 5th place would be the one that's important for the rest of the table. Now 6th place and below could get up to 12 points depending on how close their score is to the one in 5th place. But as the 5th place's score can be significantly higher than the one in 7th place it doesn't necessarily mean that you will get more points (see Rick Dangerous II below).

Option 3: Super 10

Super 10 would be more fixed and less dynamic. The top ten would get fixed points. Then 11th place and below can get between 1 and 7 points, depending on how close his score is to the 10th place's. This system would be the most constant and predictable but 7 points would be the maximum the bottom of the table can hope for (unless you enter the top ten).

Please rank the available choices according to your preference 1-3, e.g.

1. Super 5
2. Super 10
3. Super 7

Here are the three systems shown side-by-side for Apidya and Rick Dangerous II to help you make a decision:

See, in Rick Dangerous II eMTe's score would be the reference score for Super 5,
Parpala's score would be the reference for Super 7 and
maddi's score would be the reference for Super 10 (Super X).

Thanks for all of your votes. Here is the final result:

1. Super 7: 36

2. Super 10: 29

3. Super 5: 19

Until yesterday it was very close between Super 7 and Super 10. But in the end it turned into a clear victory for Super 7.

This will be our new league points system for 2018! :great

I thought super 10 was going to run away with it for a while there, until you super 7 fanatics came forth.. the good news is; super 7 is also a great system :D
