Defender of the Crown demo version?
I remember entering a computer shop back in 1986 and seeing a demo of Defender of the Crown running.
There was nobody playing, but the demo was showing the actions of the game: I clearly remember seeing the famous animation of the knight riding to the tournament with its accompanying music. Now, if you load the game and don't start playing, there is no "autoplay" mode, so I assume that was a specific demo version made for computer shops to show the capabilities of the Amiga. In the past few years, I've tried to get hold of that demo version but couldn't find it anywhere. Anyone knows more or remembers it? |
For sure i have a slideshow in my collection :)
Anyway i don't remember if it contains animation + music also :rolleyes If you want i can zone it, so you can check :agree |
Yes please, I'd like to see if that's the demo I remember... It definitely had animation + music.

Ok, file is in the zone ! :)

Thanks, I checked it and as you thought it's just a slideshow, not the demo I am looking for.
I found a mention of the demo in another forum (not sure if I can link to it): Quote:

If you have doubts, for one reason or another, send me the link via PM and I'll have a look to check if it is safe to post it. |
I am sorry for that Bluelight :(
