Good stuff, Deej! Nice clean, tidy look. LOVED the EAB link on the Contact page. The only thing I would change would be to make the buttons transparent on the Features page. Just an aesthetics thing. :)

I give it: :great :great

Djay 19 June 2002 03:36

yeeppp, the features button are on the to do list

Brand new site design

visit www.amiga.ukhq.co.uk

and tell me what you think

please:)

Twistin'Ghost 11 July 2002 23:14

I got the banner at the top and just under it:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e4d'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Too many client tasks.

/amigaukhq/main.asp, line 9

Djay 12 July 2002 00:10

it being updated all the time, so thats where the error probably come from........

Twistin'Ghost 12 July 2002 02:19

Some observations:

You referred to Scorched Tanks as a Worms clone, but I believe Scorched Tanks came first (which was a clone of Tank/Artillery).

And on the Links page, my favorite Amiga message board is missing!

Otherwise, it's looking very tip-top! Good job, mate!

Paul 12 July 2002 10:12

I like this new design and I like the logo graphic in the top frame.

The only problems in netscape 7 is on most pages I get this at the top
Quote:

<%@LANGUAGE="VBSCRIPT"%>
Also in 800x600 the links in the top frame are chopped off.

Twistin'Ghost 12 July 2002 11:53

I get that VBSCRIPT jazz in Opera, as well. Does EVERYBODY write their HTML in MSHTML these days? :rolleyes

jmmijo 12 July 2002 19:32

It would appear to be the case :(

Djay 12 July 2002 23:59

an EAB link is on the contact page, but i'll put a link on the links page (also a EMU-UK banner will be added)

very true... but i would think (IMHO), most people would know of Worms, including gameplay style rather than the titles you mentioned (but i'll update)

there is still a huge amount of work that needs doing, and its in its early stages... i'm going to make everything database driven (or the other designer (Potroast) will)...

we are also working on a version that will detect if you are using an Amiga browser, and you'll get a slighty different website (we are also working on a more compatiable version for other browsers, including the O2 XDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

thanks to all of you that hit me with reports and comments.... it all helps!!!!!!!!
