I have no idea what to do, I've followed the guides I've found and even platyed with bits and pieces and nothing. If it helps I'm using nero imagedrive and the image is F:/ after my 2 physical drives (D:/ and E:/).

Also, .adf files work when mounted, and when the NeroASPI bit is switched off, a floppy disk being inserted is displayed. Am I using the wrong kickstart?

Tick the "Quickstart" Mode and use SPTI and not NeroAspi, this should work.

Hello typhoon_2099,

Welcome to EAB ;)

Hmmm, quite a lot of images there... Will take a look at your settings now ;)

Edit: I see Retro-Nerd has already offered a solution :great

Just gave it a go and still nothing, although I did hear the hard drive reading a bit more, so it's definately trying to access something. But then it stops and a few seconds after it dies.

EDIT: Forgot to check quickstart, it works perfectly now!!! Yay, I sold my CD32 for £10 8 or so years ago, and I want it back so badly! The controller was broken though. I'm gonna get one off eBay as soon as I can afford it. Will a CD32 play isos if I burn them with nero?

Sure, no problem. But you can mount a CD image too.

typhoon_2099 27 April 2007 22:53

Cool. One more question, how do you set the buttons for the CD32?

Retro-Nerd 27 April 2007 23:03

Click on the configurable buttons in the list and use the pull down menu below it to map them. You have to use Configuration #1, not the Compatibility Mode.

I tried running CD32 games in WinUAE for the first time yesterday. And it worked fine but i suppose there is a better way to choose which cd-unit to boot from than adding cd0: as a harddisk ?

Retro-Nerd 27 April 2007 23:38

Mounting via a virtual device, like Daemon Tools, is enough. WinUAE autodetect all drives.

I got everything working except red, blue, green, and yellow buttons, they do nothing. And it's really starting to annoy me. Is there something wrong with these or am I still doing something wrong? I've set all the Joy2 buttons and the colours are the only ones that don't work.

Should be look like this:

I'm using a keyboard, but yeah, it was me being stupid. I'm playing Oscar and couldn't get in the first door, and I never wondered why when I pressed down I jumped. Must've set it to up by mistake.

Thanks for all the help!!!
