EAB/Lemon Super League 2017: Round 4 Game Vote

EAB/Lemon Super League 2017: Round 4 Game Vote - OPEN ROUND
Starts: 00:01 February 26 Finishes: 23:59 March 11

Rules

Full rules are here.

Vote for five games.

Your first choice gets 5 points, second 4 pts, third 3 pts, fourth 2 pts, fifth 1 pt.

Remember to choose games suitable for competition play. Edited votes will be discounted (unless told otherwise) so think before you post. Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon.

If a game comes in ECS and AGA versions, please state your preference in your vote. In the event the versions differ gameplay-wise, the version with most votes will be played. ECS is the default if you don't specify.

The winners of Round 3 have double voting power for Round 4. (1 = 10 points, 2 = 8 points etc). However, because the voting for the next round ends before the current round ends, players must place their votes and wait for the current round to end to see who will have their vote doubled. If one person wins both games in Round 3 their vote is trebled.

Tactical or nosey voters can see the Lemon voting thread here.

This is the first Open Round of the season, meaning any game at all can be voted for as long as it is suitable for competition play.

Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence...

@capehorn: "Revenge of the Mutant Camels" : Good man, I've been voting for that for years but since we eventually played it I gave everyone a break and stopped. Well done on on resurrecting this great Minter classic!

Loads of different games coming up in the voting across the two sites. Going to be difficult to call this one until the end...

liviux76 03 March 2017 09:26

1) Deluxe Galaga AGA
2) Dynablaster
3) SWOS
4) ATR
5) Lionheart

Harry 04 March 2017 18:28

1. Lionheart (score is (hearts - 4) * 100 + number of symbols + lifes * 5 if you reach the end monster)
2. Hybris
3. Nitro (best times)
4. Gods
5. Mega Lo Mania (play epochs 2,5,8 with selected passwords for most men remaining)

Note: We had Leander only few months before.

My bad. Playing it currently because I'm done with both games for this round.

Coming up to the final few days of voting. It's still extremely close and with double voting power for both winners in Round 3 things could be shaken up still further.

ransom1122 08 March 2017 12:46

1. IK+
2. Pac-Mania
3. New York Warriors
4. Pinball Dreams
5. Deluxe Galaga AGA

Graham Humphrey 12 March 2017 10:09

Voting is now over, and this one can still go several ways.

1. Sensible World Of Soccer - 17
2. Mega Typhoon - 15
3. Dynablaster - 14
4. Pacmania - 12
5. Hybris - 11

Total votes: 13 - Total games voted for: 35

With two votes being doubled for the current round, there's a very good chance this will change and with any luck we can avoid yet another helping of SWOS.

capehorn 12 March 2017 12:30

I know there's a long way to go but just wondering what happens if things stay as they are and Lifeschool and Liviux76 both win their rounds? SWOS and MT would both be on 20 points, and would both have two top votes. SWOS could win on countback as it has a second place vote, or would Lifeschool's double voting power first place vote be the tire-breaker?

Graham Humphrey 12 March 2017 13:34

Your second scenario would be correct. Double voting is counted as essentially another vote so Mega Typhoon would win on first place votes.

Lonewolf10 12 March 2017 15:54

Whoops, forgot to vote... again :(

Graham Humphrey 19 March 2017 09:34

Two games in a round normally means two votes doubled - however, as there was tie on one game that means no-one gets a double vote due to there being no outright winner. Myk won the other game, so his vote was doubled in this instance which has caused a change...

1. Mega Typhoon - 20*
2. Sensible World Of Soccer - 17
3. Pacmania - 16*
4. Dynablaster - 16*
5. Hybris - 14*

So Mega Typhoon it is!
