1 Attachment(s)
Hi all I am hoping to get my Prisma Card repaired....the Xilinx chip needs replacing as it got fried after a sd2ide card adapter came into contact with it...puff of smoke n dead chip...:shocked:shocked

I have found a guy who can replace the chip but i need the firmware for it..I have sent a msg to EON asking for the firmware but i dont hold my hopes up.

Any ideas....?

Thanks

Mark

Yeah basically we need either .jed dump from another owner with a Xilinx Platform Cable USB (if it's not read protected).

Or original author to send .jed/source to Mark to perform the repair.

Is there any possibility of dump via JTAG?

Lesta, potentially the Xilinx chip can be read and Jed dumped from a working one if the author did not read protect .

We need to find someone with one and either he / she attempt to dump it or they can send it to me and I’ll give that a shot as already got the tools here.

Only Michael Boehmer (e3b) has the firmware. And he won't release it, but maybe he would repair your card.

Such intellectual property may not be easily given away for fear of clones? Let's hope they are obliging
