racing game

Im trying to find the name (then adf) of a racing game. The game was sort of like gran turismo set in the 50s. U would start with some cash and buy a piece of junk and then goto a local hang out and challange some guy and decide the amount of cash the winner would take. With that u could then upgrade your car, buy a new one or change the colours get car stickers etc etc The cars were all very 50/60s esque like cadilacs. The game looked all very "happy days"ish with the fonze like characters..

Anybody know

Try this website:

http://www.amiga-gamez.de/main.html

or do a search on Google. It should be pretty common.

I remember playing Street Rod 1 a lot on my school's 386-computers! :)

I even completed it. I won the race with The King, and got his girlfriend. :)

I remember playing it a lot on my C128, never won against the king though.

pot-holes in sr2

for the original I managed to beat the king, that was fun, but for street rod 2 I always loose .. those wierd pot-holes they add in sr2 are really silly .. you drive over them you loose the race... lame. does anyone know how to drive around them easily?
