MISSING: Wilbert's Winter Wonderland
 

"Wilbert's Winter Wonderland" aka "Magic Forest 3" (Deja Vu AMOS Licenceware #63) by Aaron Fothergill of Shadow Software (circa 1991).

With successful finds of "Beetle" and "Cantaloupe" under my belt perhaps I should have a go at tracking this one down. ;)

I'm sure in my searches yesterday I found the name of the lady who ran Deja Vu, but I can't find the info now.


What now?

I've got a few avenues to go from here. I could send a letter to the Deja Vu address and see if I get anything that way. I could also drop Stuart Campbell an email to see if he still has the disk. It's unlikely he does, but worth a try.

Any other suggestions or people/places to try, please let me know.

Most of the Licenseware companies just seem to have disappeared into thin air - there is very little about them, or any other Amiga PD companies on the net at all.

OK. I've just dropped Stuart Campbell an email.

I'm sure he doesn't have this in his collection, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I have never written to the Deju Vu address - Iv'e not read about anyone else here writing to them so maybe it's worth a shot Rob.

Ive email them before and they were very helpful I assume AmigaPD did the same if you do contact them again can you ask them about the AMOS AGA extention x

Apologies for the lack of updates here. Just before Christmas I experienced "the joys" of redundancy, so have been spending much of my time job hunting.

I think I'm now sorted, so I may have some more time to continue with my investigations.

I can update you a little, though. With regards to Friends Reunited, I've had no reply from Sandra via this method. It's looking like a dead end here.

Looking on 192.com, without an account, it looks like Sandra has moved. I 'think' I've found where to, but will need to look into how much credits cost to purchase before I can view the full address details.

Does anyone here have a full 192.com account?

Timelord has mentioned in a number of threads that he has a massive collection of PD titles. I've asked him if he could have a rummage through that lot and report back.

Slightly off-topic:

I was going through various adventure games and books, starting from the ZX Spectrum, when I came across a pdf book called Adventures on the Spectrum (Mike Gerrard) and upon reading it, I saw this:

... and got me thinking that I've heard that name before during my (real) Amiga days on numerous occasions. Couldn't figure where then I realised that Sandra is to do with the AMOS PD library and of course Deja Vu Lisenceware. Did a search on the 'net and it brought me to this thread lol.

Anyhow - that's another mystery on my part from the past and confirms I'm not going senile just yet so...

...back on topic: Has there been any further developments? Would be great for this game to be uncovered. :D
