How do I stop the mouse being untrapped in windowed mode whenever I move it?

In Workbench, if I move the mouse to the edge of the screen, it untraps it. That's fine. That's sensible. Unfortunately untrapping in non-Workbench applications - games specifically, stuff like Worms: The Director's Cut and Space Crusade - if I move the mouse even a tiny fraction it tends to automatically untrap it.

I can't seem to find a setting to disable this. I thought the "Middle mouse button = untrap" setting might override it, but it didn't. Anything I can do to stop this from happening?

I can't answer your question, but I have to ask why you aren't running games fullscreen?

Playing Amiga games as research for PortsCenter while talking to friends on IM.

Untick "magic mouse" on the I/O-Ports panel.

What kind of game versions? Disk, hd installer (custom? whdload?). It may be possible to detect these kinds of games that only partially take over the system and automatically disable "magic mouse". (takes over the display but system is still running)

Worms: The Director's Cut is running off the hard drive and was installed using the usual Workbench installer wizard. Space Crusade and HeroQuest are running from floppies.
