Ultima Underworld Unity
 

Based on frequent posts on this forum I have gathered that Ultima Underworld has quite some fans, so I thought I'd share this video about a Unity port which popped up in my suggested videos today which details the unfortunately not as trivial steps needed to get this game running without glitches.

I've had a lot of fun with Daggerfall Unity (unrelated but you know, really old game made anew with Unity), I'm definitely going to give this one a go as well.

I was thinking about playing the game again and a modern port is always welcome :) Really like that he explains the installation in the video.

Well, off to a good start. If you "use" items on the backpack they are in, the item gets duplicated :) I'm going to make me a mountain of cheese.

The unity version is just like I remember the game. I know that back on a 386 it wasn't anything like that but in my memory it was just like that... :D

I hope they get a solid version out soon, I would like to play it. But then I probably won't have the time until I retire...

The playstation music is pretty good by the way, can recommend.

Had no idea this was on PS1. Time to go hunting for an ISO :)
