I assume most of you saw this fun little game released last year for C64. I really liked it. It's really addictive. When you're trying to play it as fastest you can, you can literally feel adrenaline rush :)

Basically this is almost 1 on 1 conversion. Main difference is that now there's no speed limit. You can chop trees as fastest you can. This was limited on C64. And I didn't like how on C64 after 150 point time/energy starts to fade really fast so in this version energy is fading a little slower.

We have ideas for improvements. We'll implement them in near future. So stay tuned ;)

Thanks guys. It was great to be part of this little project. But of course most credits go to Cobe since he did all the coding. I merely ripped gfx, adjusted colors and tested the game.

Is there a reason the Amiga version requires a CD32 controller? To move left you press the DPad left, to move right you press the far right button (yellow). That is an odd way to do it, and if forces you to use a CD32 controller.

I used cd32 pad for testing.. I thought I put it back to joystick at the end.
Try fix I uploaded to the zone. I tested it just for a sec and I think it works.

Simple game, yet it's addictive :)

We had a blast playing it at AmiParty. It is an awesome party game and i will make it a point to play it at my parties. I was the 2nd best Lumberjack at AmiParty :cool

i'm trying to play this game using competition pro joystick, but i can't change sides.
character always stays on left side of the tree. same problem with the 0.56 version.
only xmas edition i can play and change sides.

search eab ftp for lumberjack and you'll find 1.01 joyfix
