Wasted Dreams on 68000

Hi!

Recently one of Amiga franchises like Wasted Dreams was shared to download here: http://www.amigafuture.de/downloads....c7a04c0ee41d26

Minimum requirements of this game are 2MB of CHIP and 1MB FAST on 68000 machine. The problem is, no matter what i am doing, i can't run this game on A600 (2MB CHIP, 8MB FAST, 1.5MB FAST - screen goes black, only item pointers are displayed and POWER led blinks). I used also winuae to settle a minimum configuration this game will run without crashing and when using A600 configuration (2MB CHIP, 8MB FAST) i was able to run this game by switching CPU to 68010+. Trying to run it without s-s or with different kicstart doesn't solve anything. So why does it saying, it will work on 6800 while it's not?

Does anybody here lauched this game on 68000 system?

I think booting from CD will take less memory.

This game is not bootable, the only directory on this CD is "wasted dreams", no startup-sequence, besides why it is working on the same configuration with 68010 but with 68000 won't?

I cant test on a real A600, but in WinUAE it seems to work ok with 68000 if cycle exact and mc is dissabled. Using an A600HD 68000 2mb Chip 8mb Fast wb2.1 environment.

Well, without "more compatible" its working on Winuae, but A600 is more compatible than "more compatible", so logically it should rather not work without "more compatible" then with.

I am courious about result with your attempt to run it on real A600.

Any progress with trying? Maybe i should made this topic in different part of this forum, maybe some coder could take a look why this game crashes on 68000 while running correctly on 68010+?
