rare PD and licenceware thread

I have just uploaded any disk catalogues index files of the German PD games company "Berlin PD".
They offered more than 1600 game disks and they had so many rarities... Browse through
the list and you will see what I mean...

You can request anything from no. 001-715 since these are the disks I own. If it is
really something rare I am going to upload it...

Here are some of my requests from the later disks. Will be continued when the time comes...

green 5

Is green 5 on disk #597 the demo version, I don't speak german so i'm not sure....

Anyway, lists like these are invaluable for tracking down stuff and sometimes just finding out if something exists or not. Thanks very much for the upload Bernd!

I collect a lot of lists in my efforts to track down stuff.

It'd be nice to see more lists like these uploaded, then maybe we can track down some more of these elusive games like Dark Angel and more...

Bernd 30 July 2002 12:39

Sorry Andy, it is the demo and they did also not have the full game in their "Gold Series" :(
I can't remember if I have already told you, but several months ago I contacted the Green5 author by mail. The letter arrived since I did not get it back on retour, but I never received a reply. I guess the author is no longer interested in the Amiga and can't provide the full version :(

Green 5

Damn, it's a shame the author of green 5 isn't interested in amiga anymore. I guess we've just got to hope that someone still has this one somewhere...

A list of wanted licenceware games follows. Sorry for the German descriptions, but they are from German catalogues, mainly Wolf Software. If you can recognize some of the screenshots and
know that the game is already located under a different name please reply too. Thanks.

Hey Bernd! This seems like the right place to post my request for Zonic, which I found in a german PD softhouse catalog!

Will scan the pic again later ;)

I have a bunch of games on that catalog that I have never ever seen...

Bernd 06 August 2002 13:53

Akira...
great, this thread is now marked as "important" :)
I guess you mean the "K-Media" catalogue. They had a pic of Zonic and pics of many other rarities. Go for these scans and add them here :)

Now I am going to browse the Intersoft ads who exclusively sold many other rare commercial low-budget games.

I will upload my current disk list to the zone, I will not take crappy upload all requests, but specifics I will try to locate (56k user here)
Also bernd, I am very interested in your BPD disks as they seem to be quite rare and I only have a few. :)
