x68000 games download sites

Hi.

Does any one know any chat rooms / websites where x68000 games are available to download. I found a site hosting nz story, but it seemed to be a error on the disk =[. The only game I have played is pacmania, but I want to play better games =]]]

cheers.

Why would the FAQ have any information regarding X68000 games? Perhaps you mean the sites that have full TOSEC sets?

Try http://www.jcec.co.uk and follow links from there.
Also, http://xperiment.rainemu.com

and google is your friend. :) You should also try any of the TOSEC archives.

For a few games, go here: http://www.emulatronia.com/reportajes/x68000/x68000.htm
It is in spanish, but you can just skip to the games download area.
You will find a lot more in TOSEC collections like in www.playagain.net

You had better tell the folks how to get to the games page. ;)
I've solely managed to find it by using the search engine on the bottom right ;)
It took me a certain while until I eventually found the link to the games in the software sub-page (see below :D).

[edit] you could maybe even find some of the stuff here:
japanese google results for x68000 games :D

(I entered 'games' in japanese as shown in the screenshot below! :D)

cheers people.

been playing tnzs. finally found my first warp on level 1-2, can't believe I never found that on the amiga version. I kinda want some scene stuff for the x68k h/p/cracktros/intros etc etc. would be nice to see what .jp was producing.

Just out of curiosity, but in Pac-Mania how do you access the "operator settings" to change number of lives, when you get an EXTEND, and what level if any the game will end at? I was somehow able to do it years ago for the emulator EX68, but no other emulator afterwards could let me access more than just the control assignment menu.

Wonderful computers, even if the OS wasn't that hot...

A great pity Sharp didn't sell them outside Japan - this would probably be the English x68000 Board!

Given Sharp are still in business our favorite system would probaly have remained in mainstream development.

Ah, if only's...

redblade 27 May 2006 22:20

any one know if double dragon was released on it.

dlfrsilver 27 May 2006 22:24

This site has all the latest romset for MAME AND all the X68000 set ^^

redblade 28 May 2006 05:06

Thanks dlfrsilver.

That site rox :).

X68k makes the Amiga look like the Atari ST :((

dlfrsilver 28 May 2006 18:16

looool

redblade 29 May 2006 00:04

hmm I'm pretty sure the x68k would have more roms then that.

That 'Prostitute Maker' seems like a weird game.

dlfrsilver 29 May 2006 00:09

Retro-Nerd 12 September 2006 21:43

The latest Tosec contains over 3000 games. There is even a Xenon 2 version for the Sharp X68000. ;)

By the way: Emuasylum has a lot of games.

The NEC PC-9801 was also a very cool machine. A lot of hentai games, but good Fantasy Strategy RPG's too. Six games of the Farland Story series were translated to english.
