Very long shot, Scotsoft Intro.

This a very long shot, but do any users from Scotland have a copy the Scotsoft Intro? I converted it into a video years ago and put it on YouTube, but have lost the actual executable file.

From what i can see, this intro is on "Scotsoft Utilities #2"

Now we could retrieve the intro if we are able to find this ADF

That's the only thing that comes in my mind to help you :p

I searched the disk in my Amiga Stuff :spin

I'm sorry, but i have only Utility 7 and Utility 8 :(

Thanks for looking. :)

100% right, it was from Scotsoft Utilities II. Scotsoft were a group that worked from Glasgow Barrowlands, which in the 80's was something like Mos Eisley Spaceport.

Anyway, if you are interested in the Scotsoft intros, on the two other utility disks, there are two

You can get the disks (with the intros) here

Thank you! I'll check them out.

Awesome! Seeing the picture on the intro on disk 7 brings back some memories.

Nice ;)

You should upload it to demozoo so it gets preserved, might jog someones memory to locate the one you want

For Overlord

You probably already noticed that

On disk 8, the intro is not automatically launched at startup

So, it's hidden in some way (it's called "scotsoft")

Anyway, it's identical to the one on disk 7 :agree

That's an excellent idea. I'll get onto that when I get in from work today.

Hi,

Sorry I meant to post ages ago. I have definitely got a copy of this disk in my collection somewhere at my parents. I can`t rememeber if it was on a compilation or utilty disk. I don`t have an Amiga anymore but still have all my disks. Any idea if this was a util disk or on a comp and I`ll dig it out for you. That is, if you still need it :)
