AmiCDROM-1.15 and WinUAE

Dear community,

just out of curiosity:
Why doesn't this work with WinUAE? Downloaded from AmiNET, ticked uaescsi.device in WinUAE and inserted a CD image as scsi:5. Same setting in AmiCDROM. But upon accessing CD0: it tells me theres no disk in the drive. Happens with all images I've tried (cue, iso).
Remounting CD0 tells me "already mounted".

Regards,

Michael

Not enough information. Config and full mountlist at least should be included.

You cannot select a unit for uaescsi. The unit numbers for uaescsi.device are defined by the CD drives you have. An image is always unit 0.

The controller selector is only meaningful if you emulate a real SCSI controller. And it only works if one or more controllers appear below SCSI(auto).

Thanks! Since I'm emulating an A1200 with builtin scsi and used this selector for the first time, didn't know about this. Turns out I had "scsi disable" checked in Misc settings. Works now!

BTW: Is there a standard app like MultiView/Metatool/Eagleplayer that can play CDDA - and how? Currently using PlayCD from the IDEfix package...
