Removing the borders on newicons?
 

Back in 1999/2000 I used to have an a1200 properly setup and I created a nice workbench using Newicons. I seem to remember using something to remove the border outline on the icons so they look more modern.

But I cannot remember what it was I used?

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Isn't there a Newicons in Prefs where you make these changes?

Fun and games. Im trying to clone everything that was there back in 1999, I have more than likely missed something.

You should really use PeterK's new icon.library along with NoIconBorder. Referring to this post. You can get the latest icon.library from the first post on that thread.

I was the first to remove icons under AmigaOS, my hack was sitting for years on my HD then I released it because a friend of mine thought that it could be useful for others (NoFill Nodraw on Aminet) everyone else then copy it sometimes given credit sometimes not, NewIcons was hasn't...
