Fake CF cards name and shame thread
Just tested some of mine CF cards with h2testw and found 3 fakes. Sandisk extreme III with speed of 7 mb/s and Transcend with 4 mb/s. In comparasment to Maxell 79mb/s. Not good.

Yes, but how to distinguish fake chinesse cards from real Sandisks? Impossible imo.

maybe serial number and "made in china" should be more to the right? Does anybody got real with that label to confirm that?

I gave up on eBay for memory cards and mobile phone batteries after having far too many fakes :bash As long as it's paid with Papal thou I have never had a problem getting my money back. It's a real pain and a waste of time thou :banghead
