"Node activated!" :) ... ah... the good old days

Predseda 04 March 2015 23:16

I feel so sad every 4th of March :(

alexh 05 March 2015 11:27

I gave up smoking on February 14th 2007.

Richard died of lung cancer 4th March 2007.

I was 2 weeks into giving up, the stage where you are easily tempted back to your old ways.

His death, as horrible as it was, inspired me and I have not smoked since.

I try and have a play Chaos Engine, Cannon Fodder & James pond each anniversary.

Are there any video footages of him talking about his work?

Lonewolf10 05 March 2015 22:15

RIP, Richard.

I would like to see/hear anything he had to say about his work.

As it looks like others have said, it's a great tribute to his work that so many commemorate his passing and celebrate his work.

As the great man said... "You will be remembered"

Now that is a story worth telling everyone. Congratulations on your achievement, you've done well. I honestly believe there is always something positive to take from something bad.

I had utter honour of buying the great man a pint and having a lengthy chat with him all those years ago at the very 1st Back in Time Live Event when i was 'helping' Chris Abbot and i was truely humbled by just how down to earth Richard was, happy to talk to complete strangers like myself about his work, life in general, you name it.

I was saddened to hear of his passing when it hit the headlines and he is still very much missed to this day.

A true scholar and a gent if ever there was.

RIP Richard.
