Fightin' Spirit Special Moves

Does anyone have an idea where i can find the special moves for all characters of this game????

I don't know how to execute the special moves, so it's less funny ;)

A link or a suggestion will be very appreciated ;)

I'll scan the paper with all the moves on it that came with the game, what's your email address ?

Shoonay 11 April 2005 14:12

@Rebel-CD32: Could you please, up it to [TheZone!]? :bowdown

Rochabian 11 April 2005 20:02

I've send you my adress via email but as shoonay say, it will be great if you can put it in TheZone

Thanks again

Hi! I'm a newbie!
I'm looking for the special moves of Fightin' Spirit too. What is that "TheZone" and how can I access to it?

If you want I have the cheat to play as the secret characters (Shingi - the Kento's rival - and the ninja - I don't remeber his name, he is the final boss)...

Go in the Options Menu, after select the Exit option so push and hold RIGHT for a few seconds, the screen will blink. The game logo will change in Super Fightin Spirit and in every game mode you play you can select the secret characters (press LEFT on Kento once for the Ninja and twice for Shingi).

If you show me how I can download the manual, I will show other nice cheats for Fightin Spirit! :)

The zone is a place we store files for a short time for all to download but it requires access which you can get here: http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=vb_...ezone_faq_item

Once you signed, you can access the zone from the top right button names The Zone!

Lukyan 18 April 2005 10:54

Thanks man! I read how I can access to it a minute ago... but there isn't the manual that I'm looking for! :(
Has it already been erased? So bad :crying

Rochabian 18 April 2005 11:53

Wait and hope...:p

Uh... I missed a think in my cheat before. If you want to know the special moves of the secret characters, you must go in CREDITS section and wait for a few seconds a new screen will appear.

See yaa!

Sorry I havent replied, I've been moving houses and havent been able to get access to my own computer, or a scanner or anything. I'm at a net cafe, but I found the moves at HOL - http://hol.abime.net/530/miscshot

It's readable, so I guess it's all you'll need. Hope this is alright for you.

Lukyan 20 April 2005 10:57

Whaa!! Thanx man! :bowdown

If somebody needs the special moves of the secret characters, you have to read my previous post! :agree

Man, I Just fired up this game again on Winuae...

This game is just amazing. I am so sad to have only met this game through emulation... I always thought that Shadow Fighter was the best beat'em up on Amiga, before I got to know Fightin' Spirit, which is just 10000 times better than Shadow FIghter.

It's extremely cool how they make the game feel like a Neo-Geo title, the gameplay is very spot-on (SHame there aren't many combos, neither a "SUPER SPECIAL MOVE"), and the overall atmosphere of the game is just PERFECT.

It's so cool to see that SOMEONE finally managed to make a proper beat'em up on Amiga. even if a little too late.. :D

From what I could tell in the intro (Amazing intro too), the game was also made by Italians? (Shadow FIghter team is all Italy based too)

Lukyan 20 April 2005 17:15

Yes, it was! The real team that made Fightin' Spirit was called Dynamic Style (formed by 4 people!) and the original game title was Perpetual Craze (after the team merged with LightShock Software).

...feel like a Neo-Geo title...
In particulary Art of Fighting and Fatal Fury, characters like Tong Lee or Burke remember Hwa Jai and John Crawley (the first one of Fatal Fury 1 and the second one is the military char. of Art of Fighting 1)...

Thanks for the link Rebel

I just can access the small picture, i can't enlarge by clicking the small picture of the moves so it's unreadable............

Can someone put the enlarged pic in TheZone, please

Thanks

Lukyan 26 April 2005 12:00

OK! Done! :)

Rochabian 26 April 2005 22:55

Huge Thanks to you, Lukyan

I was thinking i will never see it

Thanks again

Yep, that's amazingly true!!
Italians can read it in the interview that the coder of Fightin' Spirit recently released to the Retrogaming website:
http://www.retrogaming.it/interviste...ariomerola.htm
And what's more.. if you make some maths, you'll find out that they were almost kids when they forged FS!! That's almost black magic!!! :bowdown

BTW, did anyone know that the programmer is soon going to publish the whole source code of the game?
IMO, that would be the 1st *real* commercial Amiga game converted to open-source!! ;)

Rebel-CD32 18 June 2006 13:10

Shit, did the source code for Fightin' Spirit ever come out? Imagine a bunch of dedicated Amiga guys getting together with the code for this and making a sequel or spinoff! A few tweaks here and there, maybe adding those supers and combos, a few extra effects or something. I'm sure it'd be possible, as the game ran on a 1mb A500, so there might be a bit more memory left on a 2mb A1200/CD32 to add these extras and make a new Fightin' Spirit game.

But if a sequel could be made, what could it be called? "Super Fightin' Spirit" is already used in the game (a secret mode, if you hold left on the last menu item in the game options for a few seconds). Fightin' Spirit II? Hmmm... damn I want more Amiga games!
