How to create an amiga package game for ps3
 

Hi guys.

Here is a detailed in depth guide on how to create Amiga game package files for you Sony PS3.

Attached is the documentation and files\tools required to make your own PS3 Amiga game package.

Don't you need to modify somehow your PS3 to read homebrew?

Yes. Your ps3 needs to have custom firmware.

I saw some other premade amiga packages files on the net. I tried running one and the graphics are garbled and is unplayable. I have upgraded my CFW to 4.81. Are there any other settings on my PS3 that I need to make?

The other ones you see are all made the same way I have described in this thread.

Hold down Triangle or Circle after you launch a game to force video mode for your ps3.

I would like to test the utils :-)

Sorry tools are gone now.. tools were uploaded 2 years ago. I had the tools 8 years ago. Google is your friend

I have read the tutorial... I have done all steps but I get this error when I try do the pkg in the last step... Any idea?

No idea.. never seen that. Looks like the makepkg tool I sent you isn't working.. try using one of aldostools makepkg tools.

I think the problem was the PS3SFOEdit.exe program...


I've just done two pkgs (Rick Dangerous and Rick Dangerous 2) and I have problems...
Rick 1 has the bad graphics and Rick 2 freezes when I try to climb the stairs...
Do you remember if you can graphics problem with any games of amiga?
