Do you get access to the digital download as well when you order a physical copy?

My physical copy is on its way to me (confirmed by email today), but I do not see any downloadable file for it in My Files over amiga.net.pl yet. (I do have a download available for previously bought Worthy).

Should be available now.

Solo Kazuki 03 April 2019 09:03

Those who bought physical version have now also download enabled.

Graham Humphrey 16 April 2019 08:39

I received the physical copy last week. The package looks great but I've had one or two problems.

Unfortunately disk one has an error on it so it won't load. This isn't so bad as there's a download of the disk images as well, but I don't have too many spare working floppies at the moment so I installed it to a hard drive in WinUAE, archived it and copied it across to my A1200. Problem is that when I load it, it then asks me to change the disk. Is there any way to get the game to run correctly from hard drive?

Also, I had assumed (from a comment above) that the CD would boot on my CD32 (it tried to spin up but nothing ever started to load). This didn't happen, but also I inserted the CD in my laptop and it doesn't seem to think anything's even on the disc. Any advice anybody?

Solo Kazuki 16 April 2019 09:03

You must use script and run game from CLI, it should not request any disk. Running from WB (by icon) ends with disk request. It's known bug and it occurs only in this case

el_pasi 16 April 2019 19:15

@Graham: Could your CD be defective? I received my CD + floppies, and CD did boot in CD32 and I was able to play Bridge Strike. My PC did recognize CD too.
And for playing from A1200 hard drive: I don't know if it's necessary but I ran Bridge Strike after creating this script:

assign BS_1_OF_2: ""
assign BS_2_OF_2: ""
bs

Thanks! I'll give that a whirl later, that sounds like it should do the trick.

Thanks, yes it is looking like a defective CD from what you say. Defective disks and a defective CD is a tad unfortunate - it's a shame actually as I was going to take my CD32 with the game to a local Amiga meet soon so people could check it out.

sorry to hear that :(((
can i send you (via postoffice) another CD? or (by mail) ISO?

Graham Humphrey 16 April 2019 22:01

Hi juen! If you could send me an ISO that would be fab. I've already got the originals here so even if I can't use them I at least have the physical product to put on my shelf :) I have enough spare CDs too so can make use of them - and then we can give it a whirl at our meet next week. Thank you!

As Solo Kazuki said the following:

For now, just download the digital archive and reburn the CD from the .ISO ;)

Graham Humphrey 17 April 2019 08:37

I didn't get the ISO to download, only the ADFs.

Juen has sent me over the ISO now anyway, so a big thanks to him for helping me out :)

It also runs from hard disk when started from the Shell so I can finally get this running on my A1200 too - thanks to those who gave me pointers (no assigns actually required, either).

Predseda 17 April 2019 21:51

Took some time, but we finally added Bridge Strike to Lemon today including its box covers!

DamienD 07 October 2019 16:38

Not that I mind as I purchased this anyway... but what happened to this being released / uploaded to Aminet as freeware at some stage?

Predseda 12 February 2020 21:19

As the game is still not on Aminet and download version is on sale, I am now changing license from Freeware to Commercial on LemonAmiga. Is it okay?

juen 04 December 2021 15:58

aminet release Date: 2020-03-22 :)

anyone can still support US by obtaining a physical copy at http://cdlabel.eu thx!
