looks great, good luck.

CD format and CPU 68020?! no disks for my lovely A500+??? ;[

Retro-Nerd 25 July 2015 19:09

It's a Backbone (game maker) created game. Your Amiga 500 is way too weak to handle it.

Predseda 25 July 2015 23:53

Patrick, will this really work with 020, or it is minimum again and 030+ is recommended (in short: engine remains the same)?

viddi 26 July 2015 05:37

030 is still recommended, but it´ll also work on 020 + 1MB Fast.

I´m now using an optimised 32 colour palette and redefined other things like sprites, overlay blocks and so on... :)

Lol, I bought the first game along with an indi aga mk ii back in November, and the parcel they're in is still unopened, might get round to opening it one day and seeing what the game is actually like :)

Just pre-ordered this, do I pay now or later?

I have a better idea:

Preorder the sequel, leave it unopened until 2017 and then sell both games as rare items on Ebay. :cheese

BarryB 26 July 2015 15:50

I pre-ordered and realised the 200 supporters had already been reached, so no gold for me :(

Nope! Go for gold. ;)
It was a translation mistake...

Thanks for the info.

Graham Humphrey 26 July 2015 16:59

Nice one! I loved the first game, as you know. I will massively look forward to the second instalment.

Just to clarify: when I pre-order, do I get charged for that instantly, or will that only happen on the 15th September?

BarryB 26 July 2015 17:07

I didn't get an option to pay? Think they send a payment request on 15.9.2015 if the project goes ahead if I understand correctly?

Correct! :great

Patrick: find an asm coder, or even a good Amos programmer, and make a proper action-rpg with the same gfx and msx. Backbone is so limited.... I bought TOG and it's just a shame, that good gfx and soundtrack are wasted by using such slow and limited game maker. You need a proper engine for this game.

Just pre-order if you like and it will happen on the 15th.
But if we´ll reach the goal earlier the email will be sent earlier, too. ;)

Thanks for your purchase.

The engine is faster now.

I know Backbone´s limitations, but I and the majority of Amigans think it is a good game. ;)

That's good news, I like Gold :) Is there a counter of how many supporters so far?

Alinea Computer has some copies left, but it is the version without a labeled CD.
