A320 & Edition Europa & Edition USA IPF
 

Does anyone have an unofficial IPF of the Thalion Software A320 games?

I think there are 3 different releases

A320 - 1991
A320 Edition Europa v1.44 - 1993
A320 Edition USA v1.43 - 1993

I can find lots of "cracks" but no official nor unofficial IPF images.

I can't physically access my original disks at the moment but I could in the near future and I do have a greaseweazle.

Is it possible that there are no IPFs because this game has disks in a format that is not possible to turn into IPF? e.g. Atari ST tracks or something?

Yes I have originals for all Thalion games in all formats (Amiga, Atari, DOS, C64) in all languages (EN, DE, FR) where applicable.

But they are stored in a place not easily accessible at the moment.

Some Thalion games have multiple revisions (e.g. There are 3 versions of Amberstar Amiga DE) and I don't have originals of all of them.

After I created my Website in 1997 the price of 2nd hand Thalion games skyrocketed, especially Lionheart, Ambermoon and Amberstar. Today I can't justify paying €200 for another version of a game I already own (and it is hard to get the vendors to check which one they have)

i havent tried A320 yet, maybe it was possible to copy the disks ? i mean not trackprotected but just manual-password check?

I have some IPF made of A320. Let me have a look :)

A320 For Amiga date release is 1990, no 1991.

Note i don't have A320 Edition Europa and USA (i lack those).

The problem with these A320 softwares is that most players modified their original disks instead of making copies and save them.....

Does the disk not have copy protection also? I can’t remember now.

Does anyone know how to make the version number appear in-game? Or was it printed on disks? Extracted directly from the disk data? Various sources refer to v1.44 as the last on the Amiga/ST and v1.46 on PC

When inserting the disc of one of my A320s (USA) it comes up with V1.43 in the name of the disc.

The 2 A320s I've got aren't protected.

USA Edition and Europe

Please dump them and send me the dump for encoding.

I've got some others to do.

These were obtained many years ago with an A1200 I purchased.

I've never used them.

The Europe version is only the Simulator disc - the start disc is missing.

Both discs have been created as RAW and ADF.

The Europe disc reported an error on track 79.

All discs in the Zone.

Thanks i check them when at home. Track 79 is copy protected with Thalion key track.
