Idea for a new forum section?
I had this idea about a forum section (a sticky thread would soon be super-big I think) ... called '68K hall of fame' or something where coders can post selected bits of code (loops, routines etc) that they think are especially tight, well-programmed or nice in general, with a description of what is neat about them and why it deserves recognition.
It could be TEC's line drawing routine, Rob Northen track loader, a neat boot block demo or utility, the fastest starfield routine, whatever... :)
It could come from anyone or anywhere, like disassembled from a game you like or from the old source disk you dug out of your closet. People could reply with an even better routine and give people advice about what saves cycles etc.
I really think some of the code that us coders sat and optimized for a week deserves recognition and preservation, but what do you think?
