Hm, I have read about this game many times before, but now, when it was found, will it be finally finished for the true platform? ;)

Gzegzolka 28 March 2016 23:52

It was not "lost", it was abandon. If it was lost and found it would understood it like - it was finished in 1993 and released today. I'm sure it pc game now and it was based on stuff from 93. My question is - is it good shmup? :)

Retro-Nerd 28 March 2016 23:59

Nice graphics but it looks boring gameplay-wise.

dlfrsilver 29 March 2016 00:02

the game is then planned to be sold on amiga too ?

PortuguesePilot 29 March 2016 00:31

If it's not coming out on the Amiga, then I'm simply not interested.

desiv 29 March 2016 00:42

So, perhaps a more appropriate subject:
This Amiga game was lost for two decades, and it's still lost.
But here's a few ports to other systems...

:-)

Starlord finished the game with the original artist- it's available for pc. It's slightly unfinished however- He was unable to find anyone to help with an amiga port I think.

Krista then went off and di another version of the same game for steam- thats this game.

Well good to see there is a version of it out there finally, but 12 bucks for a game I see myself playing maybe 4 hours... nah. I'll just have to be rude and wait for the 50% discount.

Also: using random unknown steam users as your references in the trailer... come on.

turrican9 29 March 2016 20:38

Naahhh... make a version for basic Amiga 500 with 1MB RAM and then I'd be interested. PC port.. who cares. :rolleyes

Just a heads up that the price has been lowered a bit. If the devs make the plans true for adding levels and such then maybe its even worth it now.

LongLifeA1200 21 May 2019 04:14

Dem AGA gfx?

What the heck - still no Amiga version?

Releasing on retro platforms is becoming all the rave now-a-days.

005AGIMA 21 May 2019 04:57

Looks like Xenon II turned sideways kind of

Also where is the price? I can't see any add to cart buttons on it :/

Its 10 euros for me.

ScottJ85 21 May 2019 16:19

Of course I'd love to run it on a real Amiga, but it still looks like it's very much worth my time to buy it for PC.

Steam only recently started listing games in Australian Dollars, but unfortunately a lot of developers/publishers have yet to get around to setting the price for that region.

Sorry, but you're going to have to nudge them [developer or publisher] to sort it out.

At least you can try the Amiga demo: Shenandoah: Daughter of the Stars ;)
