I don't even understand the first news item!

BEN SAYS WOOO!

jobro 05 January 2006 09:15

What are you going on about matey? The first item was just to state the fact that the homepage has been opened.

Methinks KG has not read ALL the OTHER descriptions of your project :sad

However I believe his point is that the opening page of the site has no "Dumbed down " ;) eazy explanation of your projects uses & aims.

While it may be obvious to those who have kept updated , this missing bit may confuse other 1st time visitors

Thread moved to WEBSITES, not really relevant in the news section (even tho it is news, you could have just posted in the previous news post you had!!)

Sorry didn't mean to sound nasty, I was a little tipsy at the time and only read the first news item on the site!

I'm reading about it at the moment...

EDIT: Can WB1.3 not read a folder if it doesn't have an .info file? I've never really used below 3.0 so I'd no idea!

@KG I *reckon* it can. I've used a hell of folders (and still working with 1.3 btw, because there are many old programs which do NOT work with OS 2.04) and never needed .info files.

BTW I've also assigned wagonloads of Windows directories as a harddir on WinUAE, and never needed any .info files.
I have no idea what this is all about (yes I read the What's This? part on the project site ;))

Can someone give any further info on this project because I still don't get why you need .info files if you can see the dir already (with show all files)...
