Our new Amiga game

It'll be a colorful remake of this for the classic ECS/AGA Amigas, and will look like this.

Looking forward to this - I used to have quite a few of those Game and Watch devices back in the day!

Great work - thanks!

Looking at that video of the atari version... That is some greey divers. Even when the last guy is there with the boat full of gems, and after having lost two of his friends, he still jumps right into to collect more. I want the option of "screw you guys, I'm going home" ;)

Shoonay 29 May 2011 13:34

ROTFL. yeah, I guess that would be the most logical thing after seeing the rest of your team die in pain :D

so what happened to this game?

Shoonay 14 January 2012 18:24

Our previous assumptions about it's final versions were too optimistic, and it's still a WIP.

nujack 14 January 2012 20:24

It looks like the game diver.lha from aminet. There was also a short article in the latest issue of AmigaFuture. Hopefully a newer/improved version will be released soon. I like it. ;)

Shoonay 14 January 2012 20:32

The aminet version is a *very* old beta version, without any music and enhanced sounds, not to mention lacking a bonus game and the hiscore table.
It was reviewed here: http://amigajoker.blogspot.com/2011/11/test-diver.html ;)

What we got already is better then this, now we will see what we can do with a second programmer that knows assembler better. :)
