PAL HiRes Wrong Aspect Ratio
2 Attachment(s)
I have another type of problem, this is with the screen's aspect ratio. I configured the WinUAE filter like in the first screenshot, but when I enable Resolution autoswitch what I get is a non-square screen in the second screenshot.
I attached the config too, in case you want to have a look on it. |
None of the "not full" scaling options handle different aspect ratios due to doubling changes. This needs to be fixed someday, not yet sure how without side-effects..

Choose "Overscan blanking" instead of "Integer Scaling". If your display is in Fullscreen, put 1.90 in horizontal and vertical size.

Anyway, sorry if it was my mistake, if I didn't explain it right. ;) I hope you guys don't stop talking to me because of my problems with the English language. :) |
Your English is almost certainly better than our command of your usual language, so don't worry about that. You are perfectly understandable and probably speak it better than some people who post here whose language is normally English :)

Wow, nice words Mclane! Thank you! :)
|
Don't worry, I'm French and my english is not very good as well. Disable "Autoswitch", you don't need it.
Can you post a picture of your display menu ? |

PS. Sorry for the late reply. ;) http://eab.abime.net/attachment.php?...1&d=1554403947 |
OK :
- Change Fullscreen to Native instead of 1920x1080 - Tick "VGA mode resolution autoswitch" - Choose disabled on "Resolution autoswitch" - Tick "Vertical" in "Centering" and don't forget what I said in the previous post for the Filter menu - Overscan blanking instead of Integer scaling - 1.90 in horizontal and vertical size With these values, I think it will give you a good result. |
Thank you 21stcentury, now it's working very well. :)
