Amiga North Thames - Project Amiga OS4

Somewhere in deepest Enfield, Middlesex, United Kingdom. A Bunch of die hard Amiga Enthusiasts are planning a Classic Amiga OS4 Install fest.

If you can make it and you feel brave, then maybe, just maybe, you too can find the ANT Usergroup

To boot:

AmigaOS4 installed on 3 Classic PPC Machines:
1x PPC Amiga 1200 Tower
1x PPC Amiga 1200 Tower with Mediator
1x PPC Amiga 1200 to be stripped and rehoused into new home.

Plus, for additional entertainment, you can always meet Mikey_C - the Chairman of ANT - a man with no wit, charm or brains - but good for a laugh though! ;)

All this, plus Tea, Coffee, Biscuits, and who knows what else!

Venue: Enfield, Middlesex, UK.
Date: Sunday 9th of March 2008.

I'm in the U.K. (Oxford) this weekend. Maybe I will have a look to your meeting. How far away is it from Oxford?

Well, according to the journey planner on theaa.com website
its..
From:*Oxford,Oxfordshire
To:*EN2 7AJ,Enfield, Middlesex *

Distance:*65.9 miles*
Time:*1 hr 23 min

Its actually quite an easy route, once you get on the North bound M25 (towards Stanstead) come off before that at Potters Bar junction, take 2nd exit and stay on that road until it comes to an end (i.e you cannot continue straight on anymore) on a mini-roundabout. The Church where we meet is immediately on your left.

Hopefully see you there.

@Mikey c, would you be willing to help us get the EAB Summer meeting organised?

Hm, interesting. Do you have some local meetings in this area? I'm very often in that town(business trip) and it would be cool to meet some Amiga-friends there.

@Mikey_C: I know this exit, because I drive very often the M25 between Stansted and Oxford. Which time the meeting starts? At the moment I have no plans for this weekend. I can bring a WHDLoad-DVD with me and we can play some games, if somebody else is interested. BTW I have OS4 installed on my A4000 and maybe I can help with problems during installation and answer some questions.
