[Found: Numerix] Obscure PD Shape Fitting Game
I am trying to rack my brains to remember the name of a PD game I played back in the day. Must have been 90-92.
It was one of those fit the shapes into the grid games, now before you start groaning, I am aware that there was roughly 96.7 billion games like that for the Miggy but this one has a very distinctive look, it had a brown or red colour scheme and nice graphics. I think it began with a T something like tess... Something. Any ideas? |
I think I remember that, was it made in AMOS? trying to think of the name now, I think when I played it, that it was on one of the Assassins PD disks so I'm going to try find it.

Thanks Devlin, greatly appreciated. I'm afraid I don't know if it was an AMOS game or not.
Yes s2325 it was that type of game but not that actual one. |
I'm going to just rifle off whatever I find that matches or gets close to what you're looking for (this could involve multi-posting, sorry mods)

I remember something similar was this an IQ game? As I remember a game like that and I think it was AGA also, were you dragged and dropped shapes into an area but you didn't visibly see it, one of these brain teasers.

Sorry, I have no links to anything Cubulus related. The name of the game just dropped into my head when I read this thread.

If it's http://hol.abime.net/3143 rules are different as you need to match colors, not shapes.

Yes but it's harder as there are so many blocks. Only one in-game screenshot must be for some reason.

I am terribly sorry for resurrecting such an old thread but 5 years after posting this I finaly found the game!! It's called Numerix a public domain game released in 1993 by Gary Brown & Neal Boyd. the game play is not exactly like I remember it, you place pieces on a board to score points rather than simply to fit the pieces together, but this is defiantly the game and I have had a blast playing it again, super game!
