WHAT exactly do you want to boot from CD ???
The Amiga needs to load a CDFileSystem first, before you can access the CDRom .... so booting from CD is not possible .... Anyway, there is a CD32 Emulator for the Amiga (Aminet ?) that can boot a CD32 Software CD by putting the CDFS Driver in Ram ... |
I assume you have a driver disk that came with the Surf Squirrel. My Driver disk for the STANDARD Squirrel has a "Emulate CDTV" option, where the files required to boot from the CD ROM is placed on a floppy. You boot from the floppy (I assume this is where the drivers get loaded in RAM) and then It boots from the CD ROM. I don't know if this is the case with the Surf version, but I think I read somewhere that you could boot from it...... Try a Google search for more info.
