I want to contribute but.......
I don`t have a scanner! I have been using by digi camera to catalog my game boxes, I don`t know if the images will be any good to you. Check below for some samples. If you want them, where do I put them?

|
Thanks!
|
I have deleted the images that I up`d the other day.
I have now up`d new versions of the images which I have cleaned up, they look a hell of a lot better! |
Are these images any good to you? Have`nt seen any of them appear on the site yet. I have a bunch of other boxes that I am yet to upload, should I continue?
|
Sorry BMF, we're still working through contributions...
I'll upload them as soon as possible. |
Sorry, that came across all wrong, I did`nt want to imply that my images are all important and should be added right away! Just wanted to check that they were of use to you and save your bandwidth/hd space from more useless crap.

Hi there,
I could contribute a few pics for the HOL. Mostly german Versions of boxes, manuals, discs etc. But I have two questions: 1. What's the resolution of the images? 72dpi? 2. What's the required size of the images?
Is this correct? It is no prob for me to upload the images in the correct resolution/size so you'll have less work getting them online... |
Here is the full list including types:
Double Barrel Screenshot = png (640 * 256) Screenshot = png (320 * 256) Boxscan = jpg (640 * XXX) Diskscan = jpg (320 * XXX) Gamemap = png (no pixel limit) Misc image = jpg (no pixel limit) Conversion screenshot = png (no pixel limit) |
Thanks!
And the resolution? 72dpi is the normal resolution for web-pics. But Photoshop told me that the HOL-images (I did check two boxscans) have a resolution of 31 dpcm :rolleyes That's a strange resolution ;) Edit: What is a "Double Barrel Screenshot"? Sorry, but I don't know this expression... |
A Double Barrel Screenshot (DBS) is the HOL name for the 640x256 screenshot that is at the top of each HOL entry. The left side of a DBS is a titlescreen and the right side is a gameplay screen.
