[Operation Stealth] Whew... got passed it!

Well as it says
when it demands the new disk (2)
you eject the disk... (leave no disk inside the drive)
and click the mouse
the disk-loading icon should appear
then anytime, then (no hurry)
you should place the next disk and here you are.

:bounce

If this is operation stealth you are talking about can you send me your winuae config and tell me what version of winuae you are using.. or fellow.. whatever the case may be..

enigma 04 June 2001 13:34

Fellow...

Well I use fellow.. and when it asks for the next disk
I strike END-F1 then aas soon as the emulator comes back
I strike my mouse. The mous epointer then turns to a disk
showing it is loading...

... and it would be loading eternally :D

so then I press HOME-F1 and insert the next disk
and the the game carries on.

But I can't get sound output like reading-out-loud :mad

Today I have downloaded WinUAE new ver and I shall try if it
works there as well...

Also this little trick is mentioned in the boot-up screen
..... Smash LEFT

Re: speech

Sometimes I used to get speech on my one meg A600, most times I never got speech. Try to use a configuration like the one depicted on that screen you showed.

I don't knwo if speech si correctly emulated. I remember not being able to use "Say" on an emulated Amiga.

Fellow new version... if you did not know!

Here's the fellow version I use to play with...

Fellow V .0.3.6 Release 1

this is the one I use...
to see all these keystrokes I mentioned look at an html file
inside the documentation folder...!

Good luck!

About the speech. I think it will work best on older Amigas.

My A1200 doesn't have the Say program on the workbench disks (Probably isn't supported and thus removed), and when I try to run the SAY program from the 1.3 disks the entire system just ignores the program and doesn't open it.

Is there a way around this problem?

Yes, use the Workbench 2.0 version of Say.
