Trying to find render.library v30!

Maybe I am misunderstanding something here, but on this page:

http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/guigfxlib

it states:

requirements
-----------------------------

- render.library v30

and I cant seem to find it!

From what I have been reading, these 2 librays need to have specific matched versions, is this correct?

All I am trying to do is run EaglePlayer with EMPYGui24 engine, currently getting this:

Count Process Name Action Target Name Options Res.
----- ------------ ------ ----------- ------- ----
1 Eagleplayer Load Engines/EMPYGui24 OK
2 ramlib Load LIBS:guigfx.library OK
3 ramlib Load LIBS:render.library OK
4 Eagleplayer Open ENV:guigfx/autoditherthresh Read Fail
5 Eagleplayer Open ENVARC:guigfx/autoditherthr Read Fail
6 Eagleplayer Open ENV:guigfx/usescalepixelarr Read Fail
7 Eagleplayer Open ENVARC:guigfx/usescalepixel Read Fail
8 Eagleplayer Open ENV:guigfx/usewpa8 Read Fail
9 Eagleplayer Open ENVARC:guigfx/usewpa8 Read Fail
10 Eagleplayer LockScreen Workbench OK

Think I may need some assistance :rolleyes

Here, no idea where I got it from...

Bamiga2002 04 April 2012 07:42

Or go here.

guigfx and render library were part of MysticView, a picture viewer still available at AmiNet. I used to use it long time ago, but it immediately came to my mind when I read the request

best regards

The author's site is still online, no need to go to the web archive:

Strange ?? Why is the v31 package not there ?

Quote:

history
-----------------------------
* 31.0
- simplified the over-complex quantization algorithm.
the new algorithm leads to similar results, with much
better performance
- semaphores are (finally!) correctly initialized to zero

- minor cleanup

render.library
source code distribution

> overview
this is the source code distribution of render.library, an
image processing kernel for the classic line of Amiga
computers. it is written in fairly optimized mc680x0
assembler code. due to non-portability of assembler code,
the render.library project is now feature-freezed, and the
source codes have been made available to the public.
feel free to improve the code, add features, and eliminate
bugs. i would like to integrate your contributions to the
project, but I strongly appeal you to not release API
modifications that breach downwards-compatibility under the
same name, since render.library is used by a couple of
concurrent software projects.

> license
render.library is released under the terms of a BSD-style
license. see COPYING for details. don't take it too serious,
there is no need to change texts in existing software.

But there's version 40.8 there too, ditch the v30 :). Cool the files are still available directly from the site!

V40 has been written in C and not in optimized ASM code anymore like v31.
I prefer to use v31, v40 is for the bin :D
