Dune 2000 Anyone for a match online?

Hi Guys,
After trying out some recent frustrating PC games like Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and Command & Conquer - Red Alert 3 – Uprising, I got bored as hell & decided to re-install the good 'ol Dune 2000.
If anyone wants to have a death-match online with me, install hamachi server, follow these instructions and join a network:

I used to love this game, but haven't had it installed in years.

Have you ever tried the updated version of Dune 2000? Called "Emperor: Battle for Dune".

Yeah, I have but didn't like it much and the in-level music was horrible in comparison to Dune 2000.

Doubt anyone will be playing Emperor as the servers have long since been shut down, :(.
EDIT:-Take it back, see they have done a C&C and let community run servers.

The best thing about emperor is you can do the whole single player campaign multiplayer.

I agree about the music though, DUNE2000 was so cool. I remember preordering it at my local computer store.

Interestingly enough, I 1st played Dune 2 on my friend’s PC / DOS in 1992 for 3-4 stages, but completed all 3 campaigns on my AMIGA a few months later. I remember that it would even take advantage of the extra RAM in the A1200 and have more sound effects, voices and slightly longer music tracks. 3 years later I completed it again on a 486DX4 100MHZ, which I had just acquired! I must admit that it was more polished on the PC and was amazed of how awesome Dune 2000 was, when it was released in 1998! I loved all 3 versions though.

So, anybody wants to have a match in Dune 2000, please let e know.

I'm the opposite, I thought Dune 2K was a poor remake whilst Emperor, flaws aside, was brilliant!

Neither are installed (and in Emperor's case, disc-imaged) at the moment, so I can't play with you.
