Convert PC floppy drive to Amiga,
found this nice link
http://www.pitsch.de/stuff/amiga/floppy.htm#A3 i had an old ALPS DF354H090F laying around so i tried the convertion i'm no expert with a iron yet not a complete novice either anyway finish convertion hooked the drive up to my A600 ran Ami Calibration seems to pass every test with flying colours. thou its works i will not recommend you to try this and if you do you do it at your own risk there is a better option your local Amiga Store new internal floppy is around £20 |
ok step 2 fitting installing this drive into an Amiga requires modification to the eject floppy button. :)

I do recommend doing this, a drive from a dealer is more than likely going to be a converted PC unit anyway. It is only good for big box/towered amiga though.

its at your own risk is the point i was keen on making. but yes i would do it again if i need too. i just trying to say i'm not responsible for any damage you may cause doing something like this so if you dont want to break anything take the other option
