SPI controller for A1200 (clock port)
Ladies and gentlemen, it's show time, my new little toy :D
It's a SPI controller for A1200 (connected to clock port), which will allow you to connect an SD card reader, network controller, etc. Below is a photos of a working prototype. https://retro.7-bit.pl/foto/IMG_0774_800.JPG https://retro.7-bit.pl/foto/IMG_0775_800.JPG https://retro.7-bit.pl/foto/IMG_0776_800.JPG |
Sweet! Excellent work!

Great idea!
Nice! I haven't played with SPI for a long time now.
Just make sure it can also be connected via cable - there are more clockports than just on the A1200 mobo.
Is there many device drivers for spi devices?

Any estimated release days? Wich shop will get these for sale? |
Would this work with a clockport expander?
I am just mentioning the cable since the CP-cables usually are female. I.e. the SPI-adaptor would require a plug (pins) additionally.
Great work spidi :) nice to see your results.
Sounds like its starting to be time to sit down and have quasi standardized SPI driver interface for Amiga theres now several hardware solutions for SPI, Vampire, Plasmab's, this.

Oh neat, i think i'll grab one once they are for sale.
Is the spi/SD card driver rom-able? it would be great to be able to boot off it.
This is great! Look forward to getting my hands on one :)
I'd love to buy one of these too! I hope it'll work with DJBase's clockport expander as i dont want to give up my Prisma Megamix :)
It would certainly be great if all hardware with SPI would have an unified API, so that drivers for devices would work on all.
