Surely not the most intelligent thread/question, but in your opinion, what's the sex of our Amiga? :nuts

Avoid real sex thoughts :crazy , my question is about language.

In english this is not a problem. "the Amiga" or "my Amiga" are always ok.

Here in Italy you can find "L'Amiga" and is ok but you can't know its sex, since the " L' " is the brief form for "Lo" (male) or "La" (female). But if you want translate "my Amiga" it will be "il mio Amiga" if male, or "la mia Amiga" if female. In italian site/forum you can find both.

Therefore, what is its sex?

In Spanish amiga is the feminine form of amigo.

Amiga I guess could be either in today's Metrosexual world.
