UK/Australian power supplies A1200

Do UK power supplies work fine on Amigas in Australia, by using a simple travel adaptor to plug the UK power supply into the Australian power socket? Only reason I ask is that I used a UK A1200 power supply with my A600 and a travel adaptor to plug into the socket, and I don't know if it is a coincidence or not, but within an hour the Amiga crashed and attempts to load it again were met with a solid green caps lock light and it doesn't load.

The number on the power supply unit is model PSM -601-2, input is 220-240 volts and output is 5v, 12v and -5v.

The travel adaptor I used says 110 - 250v, max10A.

Australia is using the same voltage and frequency as UK, so no problems there. Could still be a broken power supply though.

Most likely the stuck reset problem with A600, NE555 timer and associated parts. Also A600 units are horrible for capacitor corrosion.
