Ultima VI NTSC Version!

Anyone have Ultima VI NTSC version? We need a good dump of the disks. The ones floating out there are the PAL version.
See here for the quest to find the NTSC version: https://amigalove.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1013 http://eab.abime.net/attachment.php?...2&d=1555135603 |

Thanks, but that new dump on archive.org is BAD. Does not work. The files on the disk are corrupt.

I just installed that game to a KS1.3/WB1.3 HDF setup, seems to be working fine as far as I can tell.
[edit] Installed to floppy also works, in the zone. (4 adfs). |
Weird, I tried that also and it didn't work. I then tried the PAL versions and it let me install it.
Your upload seems to work and looks to be the same as Amiga Love's version with is 5 files from his damaged NTSC disks.... |

I redid them.... Can you try again to see if they work for you? |

I have both Ultima versions (PAL and NTSC). Unfortunately, WHDLoad does not support my NTSC version. I compared the PAL and NTSC files and it seems that the NTSC version is more up to date. The date stamp of the files is 03.03.92 and the PAL version date stamp is from 21.11.91. Furthermore, three files differ in file size. Is there a version number somewhere in the game?
Would it be possible to support the NTSC version with a WHD install? If needed I can provide a kryoflux dump of the NTSC. Thanks :) |
Please Pm me the NTSC kryodump. I'll process the game :)

AMike dump reveals to be perfect. IPF ensued :P !

Faster than light :) Thanks :)
Can you see any differences between the PAL and the NTSC version? |
I'll see that later, at the moment, i'm trying with CPC friend to fix a very rare adventure game on CPC.

Unfortunately this version is not supported by WHD - I have left a report in the Mantis Bugtracker.

Great - Thank you. :) A user on a1k found a way to read out the version number. The file "game" is packed with PowerPacker and is readable with ppcrack from Aminet. http://aminet.net/package/util/crypt/ppcrack.lha PAL has the number 1.12, NTSC 1.13. Check your disks@home. ;) https://www.a1k.org/forum/index.php?.../#post-1526870 |
