Cheers! Yep it was starting to become a struggle, with lots of testing and many games needing 1.5mb ram, so this will prob be the last volume of this mixed game kind for a while, although i do have plans for 2-3 other genre volumes which i have already started, one of which is for Infocom fans.

Added the following solo CDTV game discs;

#52 - Secret Of Monkey Island, The (1MB)
#53 - Dreamweb (1MB)

Both are on Vol.4 but due to loading via the workbench compilation menu they require more than the stock 1MB on there, these solo discs work with just 1MB RAM.

#54 - Impossible Mission 2025

Appreciate the words of thanks guys!

Been working flat out on three more compilations the last couple of weeks which are just about done, so expect the first tomorrow if i don’t forget in-between taking the Christmas decs down!

Back to CD32 compilations after those, lots of updating to do!

The Adventures of Willy Beamish https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ad..._Willy_Beamish would be like originally targeted. Weird that there wasn't CDTV version, but instead multidisk version.

I’m sure there would have been if the CDTV took off, alot of developers were sitting on the fence waiting as the list of cancelled games shows.

CDTV Vol.5 and Vol.6 are now available to download from Internet Archive and Mega!

ScottC2010 10 January 2020 23:53

How exactly do you propose ScottC2010 does this on his real CDTV (standard 1MB)?

ransom1122 11 January 2020 03:42

Thought he was using emulation. That game won't run on a real cdtv

Why not?

Alien Breed runs on an "A500 / OCS / KS 1.3 / 512KB Chip & 512KB Slow Ram"...

The CDTV is quite similar in specs; but "1MB Chip RAM" :agree

The reason why this game probably doesn't run on his CDTV, on whichever "compilation" ScottC2010 is talking about; is that the WHDLoad version was probably used (that's my guess anyway without checking).

ransom1122 11 January 2020 05:02

Sorry my bad it was Alien Breed - Tower Assault (1994)(Team 17)[m].iso that needed 2mb chip

ScottC2010 11 January 2020 16:52

Thanks for looking into this :)
I will have a look sometime at upgrading memory in the near future - maybe look at a rom sharer too so i can use both kickstarts as well

Amigajay 12 January 2020 12:23

Vol.7 has been finished and uploaded, this will be my last CDTV disc for a while, so download and enjoy, cheers!
