Really? Doesn't look like Epyx Winter Games ;) I wonder which game it is or if it is a PD game.

Retro-Nerd 21 December 2008 22:37

It's Winter Challenge, aka Winter Olympiad '88. ;)

Maybe you had not enough of them mate ;)
I just wonder if it's an italian (fan) translation that is on the site. Guess I'll have a lookie now.

Edit : It's italian, so maybe HOL needs to be updated :)

My guess would be that it's a hack since only the pure text screens are in Italian.

Hmmm, going to move all these "Giochi Di Inverno" posts to another thread soon, just not sure where to put them...

Just dump them in a new thread named "Giochi Di Inverno". :)

Would also guess it's a hack. Just need to find out who did it for a proper TOSEC rename ;)

Maybe prb.Games would be most suited for the move.

Also music is changed - stolen from 8-bit machine (I don't remember title of game). Olympiad opening is damaged, some graphics are out of place.

No, please don't move 'em Damien!

We're finished now (honest!) :) Well, I am! (I was only trying to defend the link I posted for ADF downloads, that's all ;))

Sometime ago (in the first '80) there were some magazines in Italy with a cassette or a floppy for C64. You may found on them many games cracked and with the title changes, usually totally translated in Italian language. I still have many of them. I had the C64 version of "Olimpiadi Invernali"... it really was Winter Olimpiad 98.
